Studio Policies

 

The Skin Connect is dedicated to creating and providing the ultimate relaxing environment for your waxing and skincare needs! 

Our policies were set in place to assure everyone's experience with us is always reliably unforgettable.

NO Text or DM’s

Text messages and/or Direct Messages on social media are not accepted as a form of communication for appointment updates, canceling, or rescheduling, NO exceptions!

Reservations Policy

Reservations for any service may be made up to eight weeks in advance and may be canceled or rescheduled according to our cancellation policy. A 50% deposit is due upon booking any service.

 No Show Policy

We have reserved your specific time and service exclusively for you; therefore, we require 24-hour notice of any appointment cancellation!

 If less than 24-hour notice is given or you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged in full for your scheduled session (your deposit will go towards the remaining balance). You may reschedule for a new date for equal services within 24 hours of your missed appointment, subject to availability.

Anyone who does not reschedule within 24 hours from the missed service will automatically forfeit the amount charged for cancellation, including the deposit.

 Cancellation Policy

 If you wish to cancel or reschedule any service with more than 24-hour notice, you may conveniently do so via the confirmation email we sent you upon booking. Or, feel free to give us a call during regular business hours, and we will be more than happy to assist you.

 If for any reason, the Skin Connect needs to reschedule or cancel an appointment, as much advance notice as possible will be given to the client.

 Late Policy

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Due to our personalized client care and services, the Skin Connect cannot guarantee to hold your scheduled appointment if you are late. If you notify us ahead of time, we will do our best to accommodate you accordingly.

 If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will have to reschedule you for a later time or day, subject to availability. Clients’ who arrive after their scheduled time will be charged in full for their session and may reschedule for the same service (your deposit will go towards the remaining balance).

Refund Policy

NO refunds will be issued to ANYONE not following our policy guidelines. All services rendered and completed are final and not subject to refund.

Price Policy

Although we keep our website and prices updated regularly, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

 Special Health and Conditions Policy

 If you have any health conditions that may interfere or affect any of the services you wish to receive, please immediately inform us before reserving your treatments. If you have already booked your services, please notify your assigned esthetician before beginning any services. (Click here to review our detailed Guide and Instructions)

 Age Policy

 You must be 18 or older to make a reservation at the Skin Connect. 

For the safety of your child, children are unfortunately not allowed to accompany you to your appointment. Children cannot be left unattended in the waiting, reception, or studio areas.

 Right to Refuse Service

 The Skin Connect reserves the right to refuse service or ask anyone to leave the premises if they exhibit any undesirable, sexual, or dangerous behavior.

 Return Policy

 On Products:

Any unopened products purchased from The Skin Connect may be exchanged or returned for a merchandise credit up to seven days from the date of purchase.

 For Services:

If you are not satisfied with a waxing service that you received at The Skin Connect, please notify us within 24-hours of the service completion for a complimentary "redo" of the area. 

 Gift Cards and Gift Certificates

 Gift cards and certificates are available to purchase at our location and online. Please be advised that the purchase of any of our gift cards or certificates are non-refundable and bear no cash value. All of our gift certificates comply with state laws and regulations regarding expirations.

 Appointment Arrival

 Due to our personalized client care, only the client and the esthetician are allowed in the waxing studio for the scheduled appointment. Any additional guests will not be permitted access.

We ask that you do not bring any valuables with you to your appointment; we will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items

Studio Guidelines

  • Smoking, including smoking of e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in All studio areas

  • Food and drinks are prohibited in all studio areas

  • Please be advised that Photography, video/voice recording, or any sort of video streaming in the waxing studio is strictly prohibited during services

As per NYS State Rules and Regulations, Pets of any kind are not permitted on the premises, except for registered service animals.
